The Couch

Because I have so much extra time on my hands I decided to take on another project. More accurately, dust off an old project that I never finished. It's a comic book called The Couch. I could tell you all about it but it would be much easier if you just check out the site I set up for it. I'm very excited about it and you'll notice a few book signings in the Boston area as well as the ComiConn in Connecticut in August.

Please give the site a peek and let me know what you think. If you're in the Boston area, please stop by and check out the book. I'll be signing with artist Logan Faerber. Thank you.

George Takei on Akira

I really can't add anything to Mr. Takei's words. Please give this a listen. The man knows what he's talking about.

The Asian Response part 6

It was such a crazy week that I completely forgot to post part 6. Here she is. Remember folks, always get a good lawyer.

Next week

Is going to be a busy week but it should be a lot of fun. I'll be off to the University of Las Vegas to hang out and talk about SAM on Thursday 4/28. They even made this sweet banner for the occasion!
Then on Friday and Saturday I'll be at the Boston Comic Con. At the con on Saturday at 2:30 I'll be moderating a spotlight on super amazing comic artist Frank Cho. Very psyched for that. So if you're in Boston definitely check out the show. I'll be sharing my table with illustrator Logan Faerber and selling our collaborated comic book The Couch. I'll have some other surprises as well. See you there!

The Asian Response part 4

Violent impulses are natural, human impulses. At some point in your life you probably wanted to cause someone some real damage. So what stops most of us and doesn't stop others? It's easy to sit back and judge the action of others and impossible to know exactly what causes someone to snap. Simon is about to find out the hard way the consequences of choosing the violent path.

NYCAASC

I'm excited to come down to NYC for the New York City Asian American Student Conference held Saturday, April 16 at NYU. I'll be on a panel with Greg Pak (Planet Hulk, Robot Stories, Incredible Hercules) that will be moderated by Jeff Yang (Asian Pop, Secret Identities). I'm psyched to work with Greg and Jeff again. The event is FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! So register online now and join us as we talk about superheroes and geek out.
