You know that new movie Extraordinary Measures with Harrison Ford and Brendan Frasier? Looks pretty crappy. How could it be crappier? How about they take the real-life story of Dr. Yuan-Tsong Chen, call him Dr. Robert Stonehill, get Harrison Ford to play him and crank it out through Hollywood's rotting movie hole? But to be honest, this movie looks so bad that I'm kinda glad they didn't get an Asian actor for it.
It just gets tiring dealing with this Hollywood white-washing over and over and over and over again. Yes, I know, your marketing department tells you that big name white actors will sell more tickets. I get that and you're probably right. But do you have any idea how disappointing it is to your fellow Americans who happen to be of Asian descent? You all suck.
