Here we go again

You know that new movie Extraordinary Measures with Harrison Ford and Brendan Frasier? Looks pretty crappy. How could it be crappier? How about they take the real-life story of Dr. Yuan-Tsong Chen, call him Dr. Robert Stonehill, get Harrison Ford to play him and crank it out through Hollywood's rotting movie hole? But to be honest, this movie looks so bad that I'm kinda glad they didn't get an Asian actor for it.
It just gets tiring dealing with this Hollywood white-washing over and over and over and over again. Yes, I know, your marketing department tells you that big name white actors will sell more tickets. I get that and you're probably right. But do you have any idea how disappointing it is to your fellow Americans who happen to be of Asian descent? You all suck.

Technical difficulties
For some reason I'm having trouble accessing my ftp to update secretasianman.com so I haven't been able to put up this week's strip. Hopefully you found your way here. Hopefully I'll get the problem resolved soon.

HEY SEATTLE!
The Daily Days is now also on the shelves at Kinokuniya. This has been somewhat of a dream for me having gone to Kinokuniya (in NYC) a lot when I was a kid. Now to get them into the other Kinokuniya locations!
HEY BOSTON!
Finally making my rounds to the local comic book shops in Boston to get Secret Asian Man: The Daily Days on the shelves. If you're in the area, the book is now available at Comicazi in Davis Square, Million Year Picnic in Harvard Square and Comicopia in Kenmore Square. Working on New England Comics right now and maybe I'll give Newbury Comics a shot. Go visit one of these fine establishments!

Terrorism vs. Hate Crimes
I'm noticing something strange. I've talked to some people who believe that terror suspects should be treated differently than "regular" criminals because their crimes involved organized networks of people who are plotting their deliberate attacks against our country. But at the same time these are the same people who don't recognize the importance of hate crime legislation. They think treating a race motivated crime any different is showing some sort of preferential treatment towards minorities. Aren't this just swapping out minority status with American citizenship?
